Crostini Bruschetta with Blueberry Maple Whiskey Preserve Recipe


1 Baguette

10ml Olive oil


Black pepper

2 Garlic cloves

Champagne or dry white wine

10g of Akaka Falls Farm Blueberry Canadian Maple Whiskey Preserve

50g Dried tart cherries

100g Soft fresh goat cheese

20g Thinly sliced prosciutto

Baby arugula


1) Preheat the oven to 400°F.

2) Slice the baguette into 3-inch pieces at a diagonal.

3) Brush the baguette slices with olive oil and sprinkle a bit of salt and pepper on

4) Place the seasoned baguette slices on a baking sheet and bake for 4 to 6
minutes until they become golden brown and crisp.

5) While they’re still hot, rub each baguette slice with a peeled garlic clove and
the preserve Let them cool.

6) In a saucepan, combine the champagne and dried cherries and bring it to a
boil. Let it cool and tear the cherries in half.

7) To serve, spread goat cheese on the crostini, add cherries, and arrange pieces
of prosciutto on top.

8) Bake for about 2 minutes until it’s warm.

9) Garnish with arugula, drizzle olive oil, sprinkle with pepper, and serve right
