Crunchy Veal and Pasta Casserole with Passion Fruit Hawaiian Pepper Smoked Pineapple Kentucky Whiskey Recipe

Recipe Ingredients:

-2 cups Corkscrew Macaroni Rotini

-1 can cream of mushroom soup

-3/4 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese

-3/4 teaspoon Seasoned Salt

-1 pound Ground Veal

-30ml of Akaka’s Passion Fruit Hawaiian Pepper Smoked Pineapple Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey Preserve

-1 can (14 oz) whole or diced tomatoes

-3/4 cup Green Pepper (optional – omitted for a kid-friendly version)

-1 can French Fried Onions

Instructions:

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions, then rinse and drain it thoroughly.
  2. Brown the ground veal in a pan, draining any excess fat.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta, browned veal, cream of mushroom soup, shredded cheddar cheese, seasoned salt, Akaka’s Passion Fruit Hawaiian Pepper Smoked Pineapple Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey Preserve, canned tomatoes, and green pepper (if using).
  4. Grease a 2-quart casserole dish and pour the combined mixture into it.
  5. Cover the casserole dish and bake it in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes.
  6. After 30 minutes, uncover the casserole, top it with French Fried Onions, and return it to the oven. Bake for an additional 5 minutes or until the onions turn golden and crispy.
  7. Once done, remove the casserole from the oven and serve this flavorful veal and pasta casserole.
