Ham, Cheese & Calamondin Biscuits


  • 2 cups organic unbleached white flour
  • 3 heaping tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. sea salt
  • 2 tsp. organic sugar
  • 5.3 oz. (1½ cubes) organic butter
  • 2/3 cup organic milk
  • 2 oz. organic cured ham slices – small cubes
  • 2 oz. organic cheddar cheese – grated
  • 2 heaping tbsp. Steve’s Akaka Falls Farm Calamondin Jam


  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F.
  2. Cut the flour, baking powder, sea salt, and sugar with butter into pea-size pieces.
  3. Add the milk and incorporate into the dough.
  4. Dump the dough onto a floured board. Add the ham and cheese and gently fold into the dough. Roll out to 1 inch thick and cut into biscuits.
  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes until lightly golden brown. Serve warm for best flavor.
