“Steve’s Christmas Coquito”! Recipe

“Steve’s Christmas Coquito!”

The classic Coquito comes from Puerto Rico and is served during December holidays :). It
is a blend of cinnamon, nutmeg, coconut cream, coconut milk, and vanilla. It can also be
made with additional egg yolks, and condensed milk.
With Steve’s Akaka Falls Farm Coconut Butter you get to skip the coconut cream/
condensed milk/ egg .. just dump that jar into a blender! Then add the spices and rum. We
have also added peppermint schnapps for a little extra holiday flavor.
Coquitos make a wonderful Christmas cocktail with a thick creamy milkshake feel. You
can also leave out the alcohol in this cocktail , use extra coconut milk, and have a family
friendly version.

For this recipe you will need:

3 tablespoons of “Steve’s Akaka Falls Farm Coconut Butter”
3 ounces white rum (we used Koloa to keep it local)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
3 ounces of coconut milk
.5 ounce of peppermint schnapps
Cinnamon for rim
Step 1. Add all of the ingredients to a blender and blend until very smooth
Step 2. Pour into a container and move into the refrigerator for an 1-4 hours
Step 3. Stir and pour into a glass with some powdered cinnamon on top , add a peppermint
or coconut flake garnish :). Serve while still cold!
