The “Alter ego” Cocktail Recipe

This is an original cocktail using our delicious raw  Hawaiian Honey! 🙂 I like this cocktail because it is bright, refreshing, spicy, and sweet with lovely hints of floral tones from the honey. The pisco ties everything together with its notes of stone fruit, vanilla, and fresh cut grass. It’s all the things.

For this cocktail you will need:

3 ounces of pisco (we used Barsol Pisco because of its notes of vanilla custard, ripe dark berries, and fresh cut grass)
1/2 ounce fresh lime juice
1 1/2 ounce fresh grapefruit juice
1 tablespoon Raw Hawaiian Honey ( We Like to use our  Tropical Lehua or Hawaiian Floral Honey, Light sweet floral tasting.)
2 dashes of Cholula hot sauce
Pinch of salt
1/2 cup ice
Grapefruit or lime to garnish.
We also used the honey and chili powder to rim the glass 🙂

Step 1. Add the pisco, lime juice, grapefruit juice, Hawaiian Honey, salt, and Cholula to a shaker with the ice and shake until well chilled.
Step 2. Strain into a martini glass.
Step 3. Garnish the glass with a grapefruit slice, lime slice and some Hawaiian Honey sprinkled with chili powder.
Step 4. Serve well still chilled and enjoy!
